Jason was born in Newcastle UK and grew up with the dream of travelling the world and  playing music, ambitions that gained roots one Christmas morning when his parents gave him a saxophone. Self taught, he locked  himself away for hours at a time practising with total  dedication.

 

By the age of 21, when his taste for adventure took him to Thailand,  Jason was a highly accomplished musician, able to support himself through regular gigs with a rhythm and blues band in Bangkok. Moving next to New York, personal highlights of his Big Apple year included playing with Blue Lou of the Blues Brothers Band and singing with the legendary Tony Bennet at an Emmy awards party.  Jason spent much of the next ten years in Munich, Germany, then Marbella, Spain, where he performed to growing crowds night after night. He soon realised he could bowl an audience over not only with his saxophone playing but also –indeed especially- with his voice. By the time he moved back to Newcastle, Jason the singer was in full flow, and a love of the rat pack classics meant he was destined to seek out big band accompaniment and star in his own theatre shows.  In 2010 Jason won a UK national search for Britain’s Favourite Crooner which lead to many doors opening. These included recording at the famous Abbey Road studios in London, performing numerous times at the Edinburgh Festival’s major venues with sell-out shows gaining 5* reviews, headlining sell out shows in several UK theatres, supporting fellow Geordie Sting at a private wedding in Venice and becoming the voice of Newcastle United Football Club’s official anthem ‘The Blaydon Races’ alongside a packed diary of regular gigs.

Jason’s worldwide musical career spans over 30 years of experience in all venues and events— corporate galas, weddings, theatre shows, festival stages and cruise liner theatres.  He has extensive experience and expertise singing in front of all audiences ranging from millions via live TV broadcasts, to 50,000 people at football stadiums to 20 people at intimate private home events. Jason has a rare ability to tailor his performance to the event at hand and is loved not only  by his audiences for his fabulous vocals, natural ability to charm and great sense of fun but by also his clients for his true professionalism and dedication to delivering his well rounded services. Jason now resides in the Cayman Islands and continues to perform internationally on both land and at sea.
